Scrappy Rust/Navy Big Star Quilt
Finished size: 50" x 50". Quilt Finished October 9, 2005.
Made with a 2-fabric border in a slightly larger size. Eight different fabrics are used in the star. The top was pieced by another member of a group I quilt with and I did the quilting.
The quilting is very geometric, echoing the lines of the star.
A looping free-motion design is quilted on the borders. This is most visible on the back of the quilt.
