• Internet Memorial Quilt for Oklahoma City. Read about the quilt created to honor and remember the victims of the bombing at the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 19, 1995. There are links to related web sites, some of which have pictures.
• Lost Heroes Art Quilt. Julie Feingold honors the memory of Americans who died in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars since September 11, 2001. Childhood pictures of fallen heroes are sewn into vintage GI Joe jackets. She worked with Gold Star Mothers to obtain the childhood photographs used on the quilt. Be sure to read the artist's discussion of the symbolism in the quilt.
